Dr. Audrey Hill-Lindsay provides in-office counseling for an additional fee. She received her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology and her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biopsychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She has worked in the field of substance abuse and chemical dependency for the past four years, in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Dr. Hill-Lindsay uses both supportive and cognitive behavioral therapy to assist clients in their detoxification and recovery with a focus on developing new coping skills to replace the maladaptive abuse of substances. An initial evaluation/assessment to evaluate prognosis, current mental health status, coping skills, and make a treatment plan is conducted. Follow-up evaluations and individual psychotherapy are available for as long as needed. Supportive group therapy is also available during detoxification and can continue into aftercare programs. She accepts most major PPO insurances.
